One of the most influential bands in the world, Rush, are bringing their show to the Benchmark International Arena on Monday, November 9th, 2015. The music icon will be performing their repertoire of progressive rock songs at the show in Tampa, FL. The Canadian musical trio will give their fans the chance to experience their musical mastery and it will be an unforgettable night for all. The price for entry to Rush’s concert will be $124 for fans to experience some of the legendary songs by the band.
It would not be a Rush show without a good amount of music from all eras of the band’s illustrious career. This will include all of the songs from their 1981 album Moving Pictures, considered by many to be the best album of all time. The band is known for creating complex, intricate and technically genius music. Their songs are often full of long instrumental sections. And Geddy Lee, is known for his hard-hitting and innovative style of playing the vocals and bass. He is backed by Alex Lifeson on guitar. This tour brings in new drummer Anika Nilles who will fill in for the late Neil Peart. The band is known for performing live shows with very complex set lists. Songs such as “The Spirit of Radio,” “Limelight,” and “2112” are sure to be included in this show. Rush is known to be comprised of Geddy Lee, Geddy’s hard-hitting vocals and bass work, Alex Lifeson on guitar, and the late and great Neil Peart on the drums. The band has received many awards and recognitions for their long-lasting mastery of the Progressive Rock genre. In 2013 the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and continue to influence many musicians today. With Rush’ legacy of incredible music, it is easy to see why they are considered one of the most recognized and revered bands in rock history.
